Parking and travelling in information…

Parking in the city centre is not easy with the new one way system and the clean air zone. The car parks that we recommend are the Galleries, Nelson Street NCP Car Park and Trenchard Street Car Park. The Galleries Car Park is a 5 minute walk to the workshop, Nelson Street NCP Car Park is a 4 minute walk and Trenchard Street Car Park is a 10 minute walk.

An alternative option to driving in to the city center is the various Park and Ride options around the outskirts of the city center. If you are travelling on the M5, the Portway Park and Ride is an easy alternative. The stop to leave the bus is Baldwin Street (R11) and walk up the steps to the Market. If you are heading in through the A370, the Long Ashton Park and Ride would take you close to the Market also. You would need to leave the bus at the Center (C1) and walk for around 5 minutes.

Temple Meads Train station is a great option if you are traveling from further away. The train station to the Market is a 15 minute walk and you can avoid all of the traffic as well as enjoy the view walking over and back.
